FAQ

How Does Deusaderm® Work?

It delivers collagen directly into the treated area to provide structural support, improve skin quality, and help restore volume lost through collagen depletion.

Some improvement may be visible shortly after treatment, while the appearance may continue to settle as temporary swelling decreases. Results differ depending on the treatment area and individual response.

Longevity varies according to the formulation, treatment area, amount injected, metabolism, lifestyle, and individual skin condition. Maintenance treatments may be recommended.

Patients may experience mild pinching, pressure, or stinging during injection. Some formulations contain lidocaine, while topical numbing may also be used to improve comfort.

Downtime is generally minimal. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, or small bumps may appear around the injection sites and usually improve within several days.

Depending on the product and the doctor’s assessment, it may be used for under-eye hollows, tear troughs, fine lines, superficial wrinkles, early volume loss, and selected areas requiring improved skin support.

It may be considered for adults who want to improve fine lines, skin firmness, under-eye concerns, or early volume loss while maintaining a subtle and natural-looking result.

The number of sessions depends on the patient’s skin condition, treatment area, desired outcome, and doctor’s assessment. Some patients may require follow-up or maintenance treatments.

Yes, it may be incorporated into a personalized aesthetic plan. However, the appropriate treatment combination and timing must be determined by a qualified medical professional.

No. Deusaderm is collagen-based, while conventional dermal fillers are often made with hyaluronic acid. Both may provide structural correction, but their composition and behavior in the skin are different.

Unlike hyaluronic-acid fillers, collagen injectables cannot be dissolved using hyaluronidase. Proper assessment, product selection, and injection technique are therefore essential.

Because Deusaderm® is derived from porcine collagen, patients must inform their doctor about known allergies or previous reactions to collagen or porcine-derived products. The doctor will determine whether testing or additional precautions are necessary.

It should only be administered by a qualified and appropriately trained medical professional using an authentic product. Possible reactions include swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, infection, allergic response, nodules, and other injection-related complications. Rare complications involving nodules after treatment have also been reported.
